I spent 22 years doing wedding makeup early on in my career when I worked as a makeup artist in the beauty and spa industry. I have worked on all ethnic skin types doing make-up for magazine advertising, Canadian television and the South Asian film industry.
I realized that the best wedding makeup was actually the same makeup tips and tricks that I used on models for their photo shoot. The dynamics are the same, whether it would be a wedding, or a top photo shoot.
Pictures are being taken and "a picture is worth a thousand words". It must stay on all day. The model-bride wants to look beautiful, yet real.
